The nightingale is plucking out its feathers.
So what if it pulls them all out?
I bought you a flower. You said it had faded.
It fades. So what?
Are you done judging me
or with your jealousy tests?
It’s just two kisses on the cheek.
So what?
At night, you set two shot glasses at our table.
I was going to drink, but you pulled a frown
and poured just a splash of wine.
So what if the glass was full?
Hug me. Tell me a riddle,
and let me unlock its meaning.
You stayed with me three nights.
So what?
Bülbül bağda saçın yolub,
Yolanda nolacaqdı ki
Gül almışdım, dedin solub,
Solanda nolacaqdı ki
Qurtarmadın qınağından,
O qısqanclıq sınağından
Bir cüt öpüş yanağından,
Alanda nolacaqdı ki
Gecə vaxtı qədəh düzdün,
İçəcəkdim dodaq büzdün
Bir qurtumluq şərab süzdün,
Dolanda nolacaqdı ki
Gir qoynuma de tapmaca,
Qıfılbəndin Mirzə aça
